Creepy noises from my window...again (P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEE)

So, sitting in my room alone, after dark, watching deleted scenes from Titanic, and I'm hearing strange noises from window again. However, this time my window is wide open and this noise is not so much a banging as an unidentified animal, like a sick bird or something. Odd as it sounds, I have some comfort knowing it's just some strange animal outside rather than some stalker banging on my window. Off to bed again and knowing me I'm sure I'll sleep just fine.
